POWERROLL no. 1000
Dalbo is very successful in the UK and has just shipped the POWERROLL no. 1000 to a Brit.
Today the POWERROLL plays a major role on many farms across the world. However, it wasn’t always like this, when the first prototype was designed and built in the winter of 1996/1997 by our engineer Anders Bak Andersen. Anders was the man who invented the hydraulic weight distribution system, and in connection with the strong construction and the unique folding system it took the market a little while to grasp the benefits and advantages it offered.
In the late nineties and early noughties our new 12.3 m roller started to find its way onto many markets, but it wasn’t until 2008/2009 that sales really started to increase. In the early years the POWERROLL as we know it today also had a different name. Originally it was launched under the name MINIMAX and then in 2015 we tasked the UK market to find a new name for our increasingly popular 12.3 m roller. After discussing this with some of our UK dealers we decided to run with the name POWERROLL.
Today the UK remains our number one market for the POWERROLL with around 50% of all sales coming from there. Interestingly if you unfolded every 12.3 m POWERROLL sold in the UK and placed them next to each other the overall distance would be over 16 KM.
From 2019 it was possible to buy a hydraulic cracker board for a POWERROLL 1230, and today a POWERROLL roller has become a bestseller on many markets.
